Sherwood Forest Visitor Centre Visitors are greeting with a collection of
delightful little buildings that tuck into the landscape with a centrepiece of
Robin Hood fighting Little John.
Apart from a couple of gift shops there is the Forest Table cafeteria with meals emphasizing traditional English recipes. There is also an exhibition all about Robin Hood and depictions of how people would have lived in forest centuries ago
There is also this stunning panel. Edwinstowe is the nearby village, within walking distance of Sherwood Visitor Centre. Like the Visitor Centre itself this exhibition is free. Car parking costs £1.50 ($2.80) per car per day from April to October. You can find other Out and About articles by clicking here.
