Patchings Art Centre

Originally this site was Patchings Farm growing crops such as potatoes for making into crisps. It had been redundant for a number of years, with the dilapidated buildings just used for storage.

In the last 14 years new visionary owners have transformed the land into some 60 acres devoted to the promotion and participations of the arts.

Within the grounds are 10 Gazebo studios

These look out onto the beautifully created gardens, which include a pool with a 'Monet Bridge'

The highlight of the year is the Patchings Festival when over 150 of the finest artists and craftspeople from all over the country and overseas both exhibit, demonstrate and sell their work.

The hungry crowds are well catered for in the Log Cabin, a recycled building which is also used for conferences, courses and concerts.

Patchings now has a Gallery, art, pottery and rug making studios, restaurant, shop and accommodation.
